Think of all the people who see your vehicle when you’re driving around- especially if you commute to work on a daily basis!
How many people do you pass during the course of a typical day? Who sees you shopping, jogging, golfing, or out walking the dog? Joe Power, a screen repair contractor, got a job from a homeowner who noticed his logo imprinted tee shirt on the back of one of his employees while shopping at a local hardware store. How about that for ROI?
Here are some ways to create your personal traveling billboards:
For Your Car: Magnetic signs, license plates, license plate frames, and window decals. You can even go all out and have your vehicle and/or those of your employees "wrapped" with full color graphics.
For You and Your Employees, Family, Friends, Customers and Associates: Embroidered or screen printed shirts, hats and bags. Apparel and accessories with your logo on them are great gifts that double as advertisement. Some people will even pay you to let them wear your logo- just ask the folks with the "swoosh" about that.
For Your Pet: Screen printed tees, logo leashes, balls and flying disks. A local Realtor and dog lover had doggy tee shirts and flying disks made with her logo and contact number. She took her (rather large) dog for long walks around the neighborhoods she was interested in doing business in... and handed out the flying disks to other dogs and children she passed along the way. Talk about creative networking!
For Those Who Serve You: Pens by the dozen, to-go cups, toothpicks, mints, or whatever your favorite restaurant or bar would most like to distribute on your behalf. Pens are also very much appreciated by hair and nail salons, banks, dentists, dry cleaners and other service providers you and your prospective customers frequently visit.
Getting your business message out there is a lot of fun when you hit the streets with advertising that people love to see and receive. Need more ideas? Have a success story to share? Post it here!
